EXPERIENCE
Brooklyn Technical HS & Polytechnic Institute NY enhanced my love and intrigue with electricity! Since I wasn't successful paying for my own college, I entered the electricians union in 1979 and my electrical construction experience here in NYC began. Fortunately for me, a college reimbursement program allowed me to go back to Polytechnic at night.
My career as an electrician had me oversee some really high profile projects, the rewiring of the entire Waldorf-Astoria for its new telecom system, reconstruction of the sub-levels of 1 WTC after the 1993 terrorist bombing and many, many other projects. Today, I celebrate 27 years as a licensed electrical engineer/contractor in NYC & NJ. My very treasured experiences in all aspects of the electrical, telecom and fire alarm system installs has provided me with knowledge that opened some very interesting doors. I was invited to participate in the code writing process for the Nat'l Fire Alarm & Signalling Code, NFPA 72 and Nat'l Electrical Code, NFPA 70, I have been a technical contributor for Popular Mechanics Magazine, an instructor at the Mechanics Institute in NYC and a code contributor for the adoption of the new electrical code in NYC.
Today, we have participated in numerous expert witness cases both as a plaintiff and defendant witness. We have been hired by other engineering firms as a project consultant. These tasks included submittal review, scheduling, negotiations, project and critical path management ending in commissioning and contract closeout.

Kevin was my expert witness for a trial in Kings County. He was an excellent expert witness - truly one of the best I have worked with. Kevin performed a thorough investigation of the property at issue prior to trial. He independently prepared for the trial by reviewing his own notes. On the witness stand, he was not only calm and articulate, but clearly knowledgeable about the relevant statutes, rules and regulations with regard to electrical and fire code. During settlement discussions, which took place in the middle of the case, the Judge informed the parties that she was very impressed by his knowledge and trusted his statements. I will definitely work with Kevin again and strongly recommend Kevin to others.
